Nudge Community
We’ve been working with 51 Studio since the very beginning—back when our ‘brand’ was a few big ideas, some scrappy post-it notes, and a lot of tea. Over the years, they’ve helped us shape how Nudge looks, feels, and communicates—not just to the outside world, but to the people we work with every day. They’ve stuck with us through pop-ups, paint jobs, big leaps and small pivots, always bringing creativity, clarity and care to the table. And somehow, they always manage to surprise us with something we didn’t even know we wanted. It’s not just that they get what we do—it’s that they believe in why we do it. That’s what makes the work sing.

I’ve worked with plenty of designers in my career, and plenty of big-name clients too—and 51 Studio are right at the top of that pile. They bring clarity, confidence, and a deep understanding of how to shape ideas without overcomplicating them. There’s no pretence—just smart thinking, sharp instincts, and a real commitment to making the work as strong as it can be. The collaboration was seamless, the direction was spot on, and the results genuinely elevated everything we were doing.

Maker Heights
Maker Heights isn’t an easy place to sum up. It’s a historic military site, a creative stronghold, a community, a landscape, a mood. There are forts, food trucks, artists, DJs, wildflowers and probably someone doing yoga in a watchtower. So when we asked 51 Studio to help make sense of it all, we weren’t sure where to even begin. Luckily, they were. They listened, they wandered, they asked great questions—and then they gave us a visual identity that somehow holds all the energy, heritage and glorious oddness of the place in one unified look. It feels fresh but grounded, confident but true to Maker’s DIY soul. We didn't know how much we needed it until we saw it—and now we can’t imagine the place without it.
Daniel ‘Dig’ Mattholie – Founder
Dig Architects
Working with 51 Studio felt like a natural extension of our own design process. They understood the importance of balance—clarity without coldness, personality without noise. The result was thoughtful, confident, and completely in tune with how we work and what we value.

BIG UPS
We’re called Big Ups, so the brand had to go big– and 51 Studio got that straight away. They built us a bold, typographic identity that lets us shout about what we do without saying a word. It’s clean, confident and impossible to ignore – just how we like it.

Head of Communications & Marketing

There’s something pretty special about seeing one of your own go out into the world, do brilliant things—and then come back to help you do the same. 51 Studio brought clarity, creativity and a whole lot of care to our project. It felt less like hiring a design studio, more like welcoming home a collaborator who just gets it.

Life Chance Trust
We’re a small charity with a big mission—and not the biggest budget. But 51 Studio never made us feel small. They listened, they cared, and they delivered work that felt just as bold and ambitious as the young people we support. What they gave us went far beyond visuals—it gave us confidence, clarity and a sense of who we are.
